Dark Circles Under Eyes
These days’ people are more aware of their appearance. We want to look good, fresh and young for the people around us, if it is in our relationship or with business relations, looking good gives us confidence.
One of the biggest skin care problems many people face is dark circles under eyes. These annoying marks make us look old, tired and fatigue. Dark circles under eyes are seen with people in all age groups.
The darkish color of the circles under the eyes is caused by the red blood cells which circulate through the little blood vessels called capillaries. If these capillaries are near to your skin, as is the case for the skin area around your eyes, it can produce a darkish blue color.
But what causes these under eye circles?
There is no single cause for dark lines under your eyes. This is different for each person. I have written an article about the main causes for dark circles under eyes.
The most common causes are:
- Genetic Disorder
- Lack of sleep
- Unhealthy lifestyle
You can try some home remedies. These home remedies work very well and gives great results. Let’s discuss some of these home remedies.
One of the most used home remedies for dark circles under the eyes is placing slices of cucumber over your eyes for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. The cucumber has a cooling effect on the eyes, which releases the stress on the eyes.
Another effective remedy is placing 2 used tea bags in your refrigerator. When the tea bags are cold place them over your eyes for 15 minutes. This will also cool your eyes and reduces the stress on the eyes.
The next one in not actually a home remedy but it is one you can do easy. Apply moisturizer regularly, especially during the winter months. By applying moisturizer your face gets the proper hydration which it needs to regulate the movement of blood cells and the regeneration process of the skin. One of my favorite skin care brands is Murad Skin Care . There moisturizers have the best reviews I have seen.
Besides these home remedies you can also hide your under eye circles.
Conceal Dark Circles under The Eyes
A quick fix to hide your dark circles under eyes is to use a good concealer. There are many concealers on the market. My favorite ones are the concealers of Bobbi Brown.
Make sure that the color of your concealer matches your skin tone. Both light and dark shades of concealer are available easily in the market. For best results, always use a thin brush or your index finger to apply the concealer. You can watch a video on how to apply these concealers on your eyes.
Using a good eye cream is very effective and helpful. It works rapidly on your skin to reduce the dark circles under eyes. It nourishes and moisturizes the affected area beneath the eyes making the skin smooth and supple. An eye cream with vitamin K is considered the best for under eye circles.
One of the best performing eye creams for this problem is Revitol. I have tested it with many clients and had great results.
In order to get rid of your dark circles around the eyes, you must find the causes in your particular case and then take the actions you can find in my articles.
